L2 EAD | Waiting for Biometrics appointment

Hello Folks,

my wife is on L2 and applied for EAD through post to Nebraska service center. It's already 1 month and we did not receive any communication from USCIS regarding Biometrics appointment. Check (Money) is cleared though within 2 days of applying.

Can you please tell me how many days generally it takes before we receive Biometrics appointment ?
Is there any way i can check the status ? I do not have any case number from USICS.

I am also on L2 and applied for EAD on August 4,2009. Didn't you get a receipt that they have received your application. I have got the receipt but its been more than 1 and a half month I haven't got a biometric appointment :confused:
