I was in the US on a L2 visa and started work after obtaining EAD.
But now I am back in India and have also applied for H1B.
The Consulate has raised an issue now with my Husband's company (through whom we have L1 and L2 respectively) because I had mentioned NO intention to work in my L2 visa application. I had done so since at that time, I was not sure about working in the US and also because the concerned people in my husband's co. misled us. The Co. has now been let off with a warning, but we are unsure whether the Consulate will conduct an inquiry on us.
In the US, I have done everything legally (EAD, Tax returns, etc).
Do you think this matter will affect my chances of getting H1B stamping? Is there anything my lawyer can do?
