L2 EAD ---6 months waiting period

hi !!!
i am comin on L2 visa in june and my husband is on L1 visa, is it true that i'll have to wait for 6 months before i can apply for an EAD .....
i have come to knoe that it is only after 6months of stay of L1 , L2 becomes eligible to apply for an EAD..

please help!!

EAD query

You can apply immediatly after coming to US for your EAD.my collegue has done the same.
