I came to US on a B2 -visitor visa on 10 Jan 2008 to meet my husband who has L1 visa and wrking in Chicago, USA. Then I have applied for the change of my non immigrant status from B2 to L2 two days back. My question here is-
1. can I go back to India while the L2 visa is in process? If so will they post my L2 visa to India?
2. If I go to India after getting my L2 visa, can I apply for the work permit from India?
3. Can I apply the work permit while the L2 visa is in process?
4. After getting my L2 visa, will my B2 visa be cancelled or it would remain?
Please help me out to clear my confusions. Thanks.
