L1B to L1A (revalidation)

New Member
After changing from L1B to L1A visa, being in the US all this while, how do I get the new visa stamped?
1. Do I need to go out of the country?
2. Can I apply for revalidation in the US itself? or
3. Will INS treat this as a change of status and therefore I will be required to apply at a consulate abroad?

Pls. suggest. Thanks a million in advance.

You cannont get it revalidated within US as L1B and L1-A are of different classes.

You can only get the visa stamped at consulate abroad
