Guys -
I am currently on L1B status since Aug'04. I am in a Management role for the last year. I am requesting my company to apply for my L1A.
My question is -
1. Would this new status help in a significant way for my I-140 application.
2. If I do get an L1A visa, can I immediatly apply for my I-140 or is there some wait period from the time you get your approved L1A.
Also are there any significant risks involved in this process of converting to an alternate status and then applying for I-140 immediately.
