Currently I am working with employer A on L1-B visa since last 4 years, as of today. My L1-B visa is expiring on 8th-May-2006 and I-94 is valid till 14th-Feb-2007.
If employer B sponsers H1-B for me then -
1. How much time it takes to process? I heard since I have master's degree from India and not USA, effective date will be always 1st-Oct-2006, is it true?
2. Since by 1st-Oct-2006 my L1-B period will be 4 years and 9 months, how much duration will my H1-B valid after that ? My friend told me it will 5 year - L1B period, is it true?
3. Can H1-B be extended even GC have been applied for LESS THAN 365 days before but LC is obtained?
