Hi,
I am currently in US on a L1B visa.
My employer is ready to convert my visa to H1B.
I had following questions,
1. Will my L1 visa be cancelled once my H1 is approved?
If yes, will this happen as soon as i receive my H1 approval?
2. Is their any way to maintain both the L1 & H1?
If i travel outside US can i re-enter on either of these visas?
Or will the L1 be vaild only till the date my L1 is stamped for (or the I94)
3. Can i apply for Spouse's who is on L2 currently, for H4 after i receive my
H1 or will i have to apply for her along with my visa?
4. My employer is currently doing labor market testing for PERM filling,
how will the change of status from L1 to H1 affect this?
