Hi, I have a query regarding change of status. I am currently working for employer A in L1B status. I have got a job offer from employer B who has filed a petition for a new H1B with change of status. When the H1B is approved, will my status automatically change from L1B to H1B? Can I choose to not take up the employment with the new employer B? In such case, what should I do to retain my L1B status with employer A to continue working for employer A?
