L1B - stuck with 221(g) administrative processing

Hi,

Went to Chennai for PA for L1B and got a 221(g) for administrative processing.The VO was mentioning that I was in the wrong category and should have applied in L1 individual ..............but he stamped the last page of the passport with 'application received' and gave the blue 221(g) form with the option - 'further administrative processing required'. He took the DS156 and DS 157 and returned the passport.

What next? Can I expect my visa. I think they want to chk if the work falls under L1 B category. Not sure.

anybody with similar experience pls suggest/let me know your status.Very worried

I am too struck with the same issue in the same consulate on 30 May 2006.

Any one has been through similar issue let me know what is the time taken by the embassy to reply back or

Can I go in for a fresh L1 Inividual.
