L1A to H1B

I am currently on a L1A A and another company intentds to apply for COS to a H1B visa for me. I have 6 months left on my visa plus an addtional 8 months I spent outside India which I intend to recapture.

My question is incase my COS is rejected is my L1A visa still valid?
