L1A -> GC. Can I switch jobs after 6 months

Hi,

I am on a L1-A and applying for my GC.

Do I have to wait for the I-485 & I-140 approval to come through before switcing to another job or can I do it earlier?

Well you can work for any company after having your GC. but be careful not to leave your company too early when you get your GC. I would be wise to wait for about 6 months, as you say.
