Hello all,
I have a question on the L1 visa.
Do my work responsibilities in the US have to be the same or almost the same to the work carried out in the foreign branch?
In my case: I have a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering (from the states), however currently I am the business development manager for the company in the gulf region and working in the Gulf. This means I am more into the business aspects rather than any mechanical engineering.
My new responsibilities (for the US branch) will be to work on the Gulf clients' projects directly as a mechanical engineering project manager with less emphasis on business and more on engineering.
Would this be a problem in terms of getting my L1 petition approved and L1 visa stamp on my passport?
Thanks for the input
