L1 Visa Revalidation

Currently i have H1-B visa(valid till oct 2003) stamped on my passport.recently i got approved for L2visa.My question is , can i get New L2 Visa stamped on my passport In United States or I have to cross the border to get new L1 stamped.

In case i have to cross border to get the visa stamped and i get refused can i reenter US ?

please help!!!!

u don't need to go out of usa u can still stay here on L2
