• I am with company XYZ, USA and i am in L1 Individual Visa. My visa as well as my I94 is expiring in August 01, 2006.
• My wife is also staying with me in L2 . Her I94 (and her L2 Visa) expires on the same day August 01, 2006.
• I have applied for an extension on March 28th 2006 and company is working on it.
• My wife's has to travel for family function in September, 10th 2006. She needs to travel in last week of August or In First week of September.
• In either case Is it advisable for my wife to travel to India? Or is it advisable to travel only if the visa is extended?
• Can you tell me what is the rule for doing the stamping in US Consulate in Chennai, India. Is it necessary to appear for a Personal Interview both of us at the same time?
• Since my wife alone traveling to India, is it possible for her to do the stamping alone in Chennai, India? before she travles back to USA.
• Let me know what is to be done? Let me know whether her travel to india and back is possible.
• I guess i need to block an slot for personal interview in Chennai (Already the date has gone to September 28th 2006), not sure whether i can apply under any special condition to get a earlier stamping date for her.
