Hello

I attended L1 individual visa interview on 2nd nov 2012 at Delhi Embassy.

The VO was very nice, he asked couple of questions like
VO: where do you work?
Me: XX company
VO: Since how long?
Me: XX years

then he started looking at his computer screen, after seeing the screen for 3-4 minutes he turned to me and asked to show him my L1 individual visa petition.
He said he will review the petition and told that he will contact me. (he did not say the visa is approved, rejected or pending)

He did not asked me any other question, took my passport and petition documents. he did not give my any white/pink/blue slip.

Can anybody tell me what is the fate of this interview.

I asked few people at the consulate about it , some said if the passport is taken by him and not given back to you then there are high chances of getting the visa. they might do some background check which might take some time.

can any body tell me, is this situcation common for L1 visa, can I check my case status on USA consulate site?

regards,
SWA

I am facing same AP... Did you receive

Dear Brother,

I attended interview on 31st December 2012 under L1B "SK" category at New Delhi.
VO did not ask me single question, just said
"he will review the petition and contact me if needed. (he did not say the visa is approved, rejected or pending)" or even did not give any slip.
He took my passport and I797 original.

What is status of your case?
