L1 visa / Blanket L-1 Visa / H1B

Dear friends,

My company is planning to apply for the L1 or the Blanket-L1 visa for me & some of my co-workers to go to U.S and work in our U.S office for long term.

Since my company is a small company (100 people in india + 120 people in U.S) i would like to know the qualification process to apply for the L1 or Blanket L1 visas. Which is better and what is the procedure or formalities required from the company front & also from the personal front to apply for this visa.

If your company is unsure of the process, they should engage a US immigration attorney for assistance. Your company's representative will provide the assistance needed - especially for a group being assigned to the US.

L1 Blanket

To qualify for an L1 blanket, your company has to meet at least one of three requirements. It must a) be a US company with 1,000+ employees, b) have obtained L1 visas for 10 employees in the past 10 months, c) have $25 million+ in revenue, including subsidiary or branch companies.
