I will be completing 6 years on L1 Visa in US by Dec. 2005. My current Visa expires on 4th December 2005, However my I-94 is valid till May 2008. As per my understanding INS allows L1 Visa holder to stay in US only for 6 years and then one need to apply for extension.
Based on above dates, Do I need to apply for extension for another one year eventhough my I-94 is valid for another three years or do I need to go back to INDIA at the end of Dec. 2006(Completing 7 years Stay in US).
Any help would be greatly appriciated
