I have a peculiar situation.
My spouse was On L1 visa and I am on H1. When L1 was about to expire , I filed for H4 COS and got approval through October 1 and in the mean time her company captured vacation time for another 2 months. We talked to USCIS service center and was advised to request an amendment for starting date of H4 to start after her L1 expired. We did that and have not heard yet.
Now her L1 is expired and my company has filed for H1B extension, I am kind of worried how to apply for her H4 extenson. As far as I think she is on H4 and I can apply for her H4 extenson. I am worried how to answer Part 4 , 3 g of I-539. Shall I mention here employment and H4 both? She did not go out of US after here H4 approval.
Also she talked to USCIS servcie center and they advised her to use current H4.
