I'm working for indian company on L1B visa. My visa has expired but my I-94 is valid till 2005. My questions are:
1. I want to work for another company on H1. I know I can convert from L1 to H1, but will this change be notified to my present company? What role my present company has in this conversion.
2. I have a contarct with my present company, which I signed in INDIA. Is this contract valid in US?
3. If I get my visa changed and start working for new company without going to india, can my prEsent company take legal action against me?
