L1 to H1 Visa Conversion

I am on L1 Visa with Company A. Company B has applied for H1B Visa this year. Once I get my H1B visa petition, it will be valid from 1st of October.
My questions are :

1) Will my L1 visa stands cancelled automatically as soon as my H1 Visa becomes valid from october ??

2) If I feel that my growth with Company A looks better than company B, Can I continue working for Company A even after my H1 visa gets valid from October ??

Sorry if you have already come across these questions in the past. But I badly need an answer for the above. I am totally :confused:.
I would appreciate if any one of you would answer this.

NO

YES... but you will have to withdrawn your H1 application

1) How do I withdraw my application if I dont want to continue on my H1 ?? Do I need to request USCIS to do this or just ignoring the employment with Company B will make this H1 cancelled.

2) Company B has applied for my H1B visa with COS(Change of Status). Will this be a concern ??

Check with lawyer, your H1 employer will have to send letter to USCIS

Yes... in COS you will have to join the company in given date in H1 petition

Hi,
I have the same question too.

even In case of COS from L1->H1, is it still possible to stick on to the L1B after Oct1 ?
Apart from agreement with the company doing H1, is there any other legal Problems ?
