L1 to H1 transfer

I am on L1 visa. My labor and I-140 are approved. I am thinking of changing from L1 - H1 (maybe new employer or maybe same will change) since L1 can not be extended beyond 5years. And I can not file 485 due to retrogression.

How this will effect my green card process considering I change employer.?

I am on L1 visa. My labor and I-140 are approved. I am thinking of changing from L1 - H1 (maybe new employer or maybe same will change) since L1 can not be extended beyond 5years. And I can not file 485 due to retrogression.

Change of status is allowed from L1 to H1. However, this may be subject to H1 quota. If issued without I-94, then person has to reenter US to get into H1 status.

How this will effect my green card process considering I change employer.?
This should not affect GC processing as H1/L1 and GC are two separate things.
