I am working for company A in USA on L1B(Individual) VISA and my petition/I-94 going to expire on 25-AUG-2006. My employer going to file for an extension and by FEB-2007 I will be maxing out(5 years) on L1. Hence they seem to file for H1 too, so that I would be on L1 extension from 25-aug-2006 till Oct,2006 and there after on H1. Now, I was given offers by companies B & C and willing to file H1. And I like to let both of them to proceed.
So, my question is this change of status from L1 to H1 by 3 employers is OK or not and in parallel with L1 extension filing.
And my wife is on L2. So, do I need to ask companies filing H1 to file H4 also? Or once I get H1 then they/I can file for H4 ? (her L2 also expires by 25-AUG-2006, company A filing for extension)
