I am on L1 with employer A
The Lawyer of employer B made a mistake and applied for H1 as COS (Change-of-status) instead of consulate processing (port-of-entry).
Now, on Oct 1st 2007 I will automatically change from L1 to H1 status.
Is there a way to continue on L1 visa (while keeping the H1b intact)? Basically, can I change the approved H1b from Change-of-status to Consulate processing (port-of-entry)?
I dont want to leave my L1 employer now. I want to keep the H1b as a fall-back option in case I need to quit the L1 employer.
