A L1 to H1 transfer was approved but we did not receive the I-94 even though it was specified in I-129 petition that we applied for a change of status (COS).
a) How can we get the I-94 for this new H1 filed by Company B since it seems like an oversight on USCIS part while approving this L1 to H1 transfer?
The H1 approval is valid from Oct.1, 2006 through Sep.30,2009.
b) If the current L1 is renewed by Company A, then what happens to the H1 approval obtained by Company B?
c) Do we need to again apply for COS from L1 to H1?
