I was on L1-short term (Use to get Stipend in US with Salary in India) for 1 year and then on long term L1 (full salary like H1) for another year. So in all I was here on L1 for 2 year. Then I was in India for 8 months and came back recently on H1. I understand that the time spend outside US was less then a year so my L1 and H1 period will be counted together for calculating 6 years.
But if Go back to India on vacation for 4 months and completes 1 year outside US (in breaks offcourse) even then L1 will be counted with H1 in calculating total of 6 years?
