L1 to F1 Transfer Process.

Hello Sir/Madam

I have secured admission in Penn State , Currently I am working with a US Company on a L1 Visa. I want to change the status to F1. I have following questions in this regard.

Q1. What is the process for transfering the VISA from L1 to F1.
Q2. What documents are need.
Q3. How long does it take.
Q4. Can I attend the school before getting the approval.

A1. Use BCIS form I-539.
A2. You will need admission letter, I-20 and proof of financial abillity to pay for school.
A3. I am not sure, may take 2-6 months.
A4. NO!
