I am currently on L1B for the past three years. Next year I plan to go to school full-time and hence will have my L1B converted to F1. It will probably take 2 years to get the degree. If I get a H1B after graduating,what will be the duration of that H1B? Since the maximum duration of a H1B is 6 years,will the earlier 3 years on L1 be deducted from H1B? Or can I get fresh H1B for 6 years?
