I'm not sure whether this question is relevant in this forum. But if anybody could give me the right info it would be great.
I have visited US on a B1 VISA before. This time I'm on an L1. I'm not sure about the duration of my stay. Might be 3-4 months.
-- Is it compulsory to have an SSN?
-- If I do not recieve a pay ckeck and just allowances, do I need to pay tax?
