L1 renewal? EAD? Help!

This is my case:

1) I have an L1 visa which will expire on July 31st.
2) I can only apply for a renewal on or after March 31st.
3) Actual processing tim at TSC is 5.5 months.
4) This means an approval by mid September.
5) Because of my job, I have to cross south border down to Mexico every week. What can I do between July 31st and mid September???

6) May I apply for an EAD and Advance parole simultaneously with my L1 renewal application?
7) Any other option?

Apply for AP. As long as you dont use EAD as your employment authorization you are fine. The only problem is AP processing time in TSC is 6+ months.
