L1 on purchasing a gas station

Can i qualify for a L1 visa if i purchase a gas station and also apply for green card.thanks in advance.i am currently on H1 visa and on bench.

No You Cannot

The L1 is an intra-company visa. It is given to people who were working for Co. A in their home country and move to the US still employed with Co. A.

Can you please tell me the procedure? Should you apply for it from Home country or easier to change status when you come to US. Thanks.
