L1, L2 to H1, H4

I was working for an Indian Company in L1. My family is also with me in L2. I came to US in 2003.
I have applied for H1B (L1 to H1 and L2 to H4) through another company in June'04. I had a query
for more than 6 years in Dec'04 and sent a reply that I was outside of US for more than a year.
I got my H1 approved in Jan'05. During this process my family went to India. My family till now
did not receive anything. When I ask my company people, they says, since family went to India, the
VISA pettion (L2 to H4) becomes invalid or rejected (I do not know). Also they say, Even if you file
again for L2 to H4 now also not going to work since you are already in H1. They are asking my wife to
go back to India and get it stamped based on my new H1 approval. I have joined the new company
as soon as the H1 approved in Feb'05. BOth of us L1, L2 VISA ends by 30th May'05. In the USCIS site
they status is same from the begining. It does not say that it has been rejected.

1. My H1 has I94 till 2007. So I can stay here till that period.
2. If I apply again for L2 to H4, Can my family stay after 30th of May?
3. If my family goes to India before 30th, Can they get it stamped based on my new H1 approval
eventhough I did not get it stamped.
4. If the pettition is rejected will it show in the site that it has been rejected?

Please advice me.
