Hi,
When my friend was on L-1 visa, he applied for GC process, in which his I-140 got approved and I-485 process is in pending (180 days completed, got his EAD and AP, ). For some reasons, he is no longer with the company that L1 and GC were processed. What is his status now? Is he treated the same way as H1-GC candidate? If he moves to another company, Will he eligible to continue the existing GC process? Please respond at the earliest.
