L1 Ext Denial impact on future US petition and visa

My Visa and I94 expired on Dec 2008. I went for an I94 exstenstion and ended up with RFE.

Now i have time till march to respond to RFE.

If i responded to RFE and if there is a denial, will there be any effect on my future visa or petition application?

I don't know what is my RFE, my employer didn't disclose it.
