I am having an unique problem for my LI Blanket extention. My Visa is getting expired in Sep 2009, but my I 94 is valid till August 2010.
Now when I am trying for extention now, the company is saying that we cannot file the extention as per US govt rule, We can not file for extention 6 months prior to I 94 expiry date.
The issue is My ,marriage is fixed for Nov 2009 and I need to go . So After Sep 2009 , when I travel to India , then I wont be able to come back. Please let me know if there is any such rule thats prohibits to file for Visa extention, even if the Visa is expired but I 94 is valid for more than a year.
