Currently am in L1B visa with the company X. It expires in June 2009. Got a H1B last year through a consulting company Y and it is valid from October 2008. Now i want my current employer X to get the H1 from Y (currently holding my H1). Still am working with company X. What should I do to transfer the H1 from Y to X to make sure that i won't skip any formalities. Also still am in L1B as i came to US through that and am still working with X using L1B. Please advice me in this.
