I'm working with an Indian IT Company (say ABC) and am on a deputation to the US on L1 A for a year now. The L1 A petition is valid till mid 2008. The company has a wholly owned subsidiary (XYZ) which has been incorporated in the United States and it does high end consulting work. Recently, I have got an opportunity for a career move to XYZ. The question is can I work for XYZ on the same L1 A which was filed by ABC. If not, what are my options?
