hi,
i am on L1-A visa and it expires in nov 30 2002 according to this visa i need to have business in 1 yr inorder to get extensions for further 2 yrs but since economy is so bad its hard to get into a good business .now my visa is expiring i need help as to what should be done .If i file for extension without a business (as i have a small office rented but no business taking place)will i get extension or should i go for H-1B for my wife and me converting to H4 as also i need to find a employer who can sponsor us to keep our status legal.further how hard is it get H-1b in usa as per number of people on H-1b laidoff.pls help me as don't know what to do.
