Hi,

I have at L1 Petition approved, after which i went to the cousulate for the visa interview. I was refused with 221(g). And was told that my application required administrative processing. Counsular did not ask for a single document in my interview. Only few questions were asked
1) Why i am going to US
2) Why you got trasfered
3) How long you have been working ( 2+years) with current organisation ?
4) What is you salary (India/US) ?
5) Are u married ?
6) What is you fiancee's name ?

I wanted to know how long will it take for them to contact me back and why did it whet for the administrative processing. Why did the counsular didnot ask for even a single document from me ?

Its 22 days now, Havn't got any reply from embassy. I have written mail , no reply from them. I even tried calling them but either the phone lines are busy or nobody picks up the phone..
 
L1B - stuck with 221(g) administrative processing

Hi Dev,

I was going through the forum and found that you have faced problem similar to me. I am in a similar situation. Went to Chennai consulate.Pls let me know what happened to your visa. Pls reply.

Same suitation here too.

Hi Dev, Sanju,

Please do post what happens in each of your case, I am too facing the same problem, 221 g with AAP. do not know when the embassy will reply.

any one else with the same suitation and have processed further please reply.
