L Visa after Acquisition of Company

Hello, appreciate if anyone knows the answer to this.
Company A buys Company B and absorbs Company B's operations including its employees.
Company A wants to send these employees to their US affiliate under an L Visa.
Has the L Visa's 12 month requirement automatically been satisfied since Company B is now an affiliate having been purchased by Company A, or do these employees still need 12 months of service with Company A before being eligible for the L Visa.

Thank you

To obtain an L visa, employees of Company B, which was acquired by Company A, still need to meet the length of service requirement for Company A. Even if Company B is now a subsidiary of Company A, the employees still need to have worked for at least 12 months within Company A to be eligible for an L visa. This requirement cannot be automatically satisfied based solely on the acquisition of Company B. Employees must complete the necessary procedures and conditions established for obtaining an L visa in the United States.

As a follow up question, can Company B, if it stays in operation, second employees to Company C under an L Visa, now that it is an affiliate of Company C although a recent one.

Thank You
