L-1B to L-1A..possible

Hi,
I am Aashish Agarwal, working on a L-1B visa in the US since Septmeber 2001. I have more than 3 years of experience(I started working in Juy 1999) in total.
Recently, my company has given me the option of applying for the green card and I did like to apply as a L-1A visa holder rather than L-1B visa holder for obvious benefits. I talked to the people in my comany and they say L-1A is only for managers/senior level people.
They asked me to present my profile in such a way that it reflects I work as a manager. Now how do i do this without lying?

My problem is, is it possible for me to change my visa status to L1A, and if so, then how.
Is there any lower limit ceiling on work experience stating that people less than 3 or 4 years of experience cannot have L1-A visa status?
In short, how can i have a winning case for applying for L-1A visa. Could anybody help me in that?

Thanks in advance,
