Need your help guys.
I am with a company X on L1 and got my H1 with change of status approved (from a company Y) on 21 Aug 2006. I am authorised to work for company Y from oct 1, 2006.
My question is if i resign from company X now, do I have to return to my home country immediately. Can the company X force me to go back or can create any other problems. Is there any grace period you can stay on your L1-B visa after resignation.
I don't want to give my resignation in X at very last moment.
