L-1B, EAD, H-1B special situation. Please help.

I was in the U.S on L-1B. My spouce was on L-2.
Based on my L-1B, my wife applied for EAD and she got it 2 monhts ago.

Now my employer got me a H-1B.

Since I am on H-1B now, what is the validity of my wife's EAD which was approved based on my old L-1B?

Is her EAD still valid? If so, for how long?

Any reply will be highly appreciated.

You need to act quickly: The moment you changed your status to H1b, your wife's L2 status was not valid any more. Her status (i.e. L2) is dependent on you being in valid L1 status. Hence her EAD is also not valid any more.

I suggest you contact an attorney quickly and get your wife's status changed to H4.
