L-1 visa

Hi,

I am an Indian and currently working with employer in L-1 visa.
Here is my situation.
The issue date of L-1 visa is 07 Jun, 2004 and expiration date is 05, Jul,2005. The PED is 01 July,2006.
I entered in US on 14th Jul,2004. Presently I am working in US and planning to go to India on the 1st week of August,2005. I want to return here after December 2005.
Can I enter with the present visa or I need to stamp it again. If I need to stamp, what is the procedure and how much time required to get the visa.

Hi

You need to get your visa revalidated if you wish to go back to the US after Aug 2005. Though you have a valid Petition till 2006. If you travel out of the country you necessarily need to get your visa revalidated. You can apply for a L1 Stamping at Delhi or Kolkata since there is a heavy rush at the Chennai Consulate (if you belong to the jurisdiction of Chennai)
