nasrmobin said:Well what happened? Apparently they did not give the GC to you.
I check the ASC on the USCIS website. they are working Thusdays thru Saturdays and they are not open on Sundays and Mondays (I think most of them)

Could you please tell us exactly what happaned?
Thanks
14ksusha said:yes, I did, Atique! It took five minutes. I first thought USCIS made a mistake, but the office was indeed open. My appointment was at 8:00 am. When is yours?
nasrmobin said:I think they will issue a GC at ASC in certain situations. Probably some of the ASC are capable of issueing GC and some are not.
I just got a LUD change on Friday and hopefully I will get the notice soon.
Atique I am wonder why they schedule your BIO so late?
Good Luck man.
Thank younasrmobin said:Damn, That is crazy man. I wish you a good luck next one is your GC knocking on the door. That was a cool one.
atique rahman said:Mine is at 8:00 AM on 05/04. I belive that's Thursday. So what Jubilee/Grassroot mentioned is evidently wrong. ASC don't issue plastic right after BIO. But 14ksusha, you'll be receiving your plastic within a week or max two weeks. Also please let me know if you notice any LUD change this Monday or so on? Even no LUD change just don't worry at all. I'm pretty sure your plastic is just knocking at the door. Keep me posted.

14ksusha said:Here it comes! I got an e-mail (actually four of them, all duplicates) that my plastic had been mailed. It's the countdown now! After waiting for 15 years, I am afraid I am going to have a heart attack when I actually see it. I am not that young anymore!
nasrmobin said:Congrats, it is a very good message. Probably the best message that you have ever got from USCIS.
I am still waiting for BIO apoointment and have not got anything yet. I know it will take them another 30 days to figure where is my application. It's all good no complains.
I am happy for you and will wait for atique to get his. Let us know what is happeneing to yours.Good Luck
maca2005 said:I got the same e-mail yesterday, and I went for the appointment on 04/22/06 just a standard BIO 2 index finger and photo.
I hope GC will come in the mail tomorow.
atique rahman said:You'll get the card within a week max. May I ask you what was the exact message they mailed you. Just curious.

congratulations 14ksusha...indeed 15 years is long time!!!14ksusha said:Well, it's here!!! I came home from work and ran to the mailbox. There was one single letter in a white envelope, looked like a credit card invitation or more like a collection agency note. Nothing about DHS or USCIS. I almost gasped in dissappointment when I noticed the return address was POB 12345, Nebraska. Still, I didn't feel any plastic inside. Finally, I opened it and there it was inside, neatly hidden. My name, my pretty face, backdated correctly, not burned, not mutilated. Looks kind of funny (and so easy to lose!!...I ain't putting it in my wallet), hard to believe it took 15 years to get this little thing. When you get yours, Atique, we'll have a party.
