Kiran and others. Do all old cases like mine (PD : Mar/96) get RFE issued?

Kiran,

I saw your posting regarding old cases and RFE. Mine is one such old case
PD : Mar/96
EB3/India
ND : Oct/27/99
FP : Notice recd today. Scheduled for Mar 10th.

The question is if I know that it is coming, how can I prepare for it so that I do not waste any more time. Can I send them a letter from Employer stating that they are going to continue to employ me.

It has been 5 years and I am looking for anything that reduces this agony. Your input will be highly appreciated.

Not everybody with old PDs get RFE eventhough it is a reason for RFE. Unless you know what the RFE is for, it is really hard to prepare in advance. And I suggest, send the documents after INS asks for it. If you send them in advance, you may just end up confusing INS and delay your process more.
