Kid allowed with parents in Mumbai Consulate ?

Hi,

We have a 6 months old baby. She is born in USA.

Can we take the baby with us in mumbai consulate during the interview?

Yepp you can take your kid if you want to but want to let you know that kid is not needed for interview as kid was born in USA

We just want to make sure that we can take the kid with us as we don't have anyone in mumbai where we can leave the kid with.
 
Hi All

I called US consulate in Mumbai and they told me that kids (even 5 months old) are not allowed if they are not coming for VISA.

:(
 
Sorry for the wrong information.I went to Mumbai Consulate in this year June and information i got during that time was that i can carry kid but i dint carry kid with me for diff reaons.
 
They told me that, they might not allow kid.

He was also not sure. he said its not a good idea to bring small kid in consulate.

Not sure what to do now...
