Kcc Says information does not match -Please Help

Hello members of this forum, I am a 2009DV 2009AF000XXXXX winner. Received my notification letter filled the forms but made a mistake on the block of Date of Birth ....I by mistake left it blank and instead wrote the date of birth on the Nationality block.
on noting this I sent another corrected form and a cover letter explaining to KCC what had happened.


I have also tried to contact KCC through their email but in all of them they tell me to submit the information that matches the case .

I have always been sure of my date of birth. I dont understand why they are telling me that the information do not match the case

I Have tried all this even submitting my date of birth with all the formats but still they say the information does not match the case

Pls help is there chances of getting my second notification letter and how do i have to fill new forms if this is the problem of living date of birth block blank.
 
Are you sure that you did not make an error in the E-DV with your DOB?

On the 1st NL you got, announcing your winning, all the info you submitted online for the lottery is given....plain and simple.

Any info you give to KCC now should match that info on the 1st NL.

dont send emails, call them and sort out your prob. Give the info on your 1st NL and if they are wrong ask them what they can do about it.

in 1st. NL there is no DOB!!

do you have the e-application"E-DV"?! if you have it then compare the DOB and then you will find the error
 
Ok, first you can tell us two of the five X's -- it's safe and it won't matter -- and we can estimate when your interview date is.

When they tell you you somehting like "submit the information that matches the case", it usually means that the mistake was made in the original EDV entry. We understand that you are sure about your DOB, but the million dollar question here is.. ARE YOU SURE THAT YOU DID NOT MAKE A MISTAKE IN YOUR ORIGINAL EDV ENTRY.

If you did, then it will cause trouble.

I know the date of birth clearly and am sure I have WHAT I DID MISTAKE IS TO LEAVE THE DATE OF BIRTH BLOCK EMPTY AND INSTEAD PUT THE DATE OF BIRTH IN THE NATIONALITY BLOCK. i did not print the EDV entry but am sure I dint make a mistake on the date of birth
Please help on what I can do
 
This mistake was in the 1st NL that i submitted. could this be the problem. PLease help am very much worried
 
Okay, from what i read here -- the problem seems to be in the DS 230. I hope that is so, because that can be taken care of. What you need to do is to send a package to KCC with a cover letter explaining what happened -- and a new DS 230 or whichever from you made the mistake in, with the appropriate corrections.

I assume you did that in the form you sent back to KCC, right? If, that can not be the mistake because the validation did not base on the information you have given in DS-230
 
mogako u know wut the best thing..is ...to call them up so dat u can directly speak to some one rather then..keep on emailing..them..n they not getting the right info..tell them that u made a mistake in ur 1stNL by nt feeling the date of birth onthe correct place n ask them if every thing is ok...they r gonna help you out.....dont be scared mann u wont be disqualified for that..every one makes a mistake..but you definately..gotta call kcc..n not..email them..cozz i dont thing dats working right now..

yeah, i thk thats the best solution to getting thgs straight. I am gonna call them tonight. Wish me luck.
