Dear friends,
I hope everyone is fine and doing well. After a long and tiring 6 weeks, KCC finally confirmed, on the phone, that they have received my forms, and my case is under processing.

Q1) Could someone please tell me what they mean by "under processing", and what is the next step after the case is processed?
Q2) And how long does the processing take itself, and should I contact KCC whether my forms have been processed or not, or simply wait till I receive the second NL in my email inbox?

Looking forward to your helpful replies!

Thanks in advance!

I also got a message simmilar to that one but I think it means theyre'nt through wid the process. To know whether your number is current just review this August for visa bulletin coz for sure your case will already ready and will be current. All the best.

Relaxxx!!!

Wow ,u seem to be in a mad rush & yet ur not current:confused:Oct is only 60 days away thus just get ur docs in order.I guess we r not similar coz I've already come to terms of being a selectee:cool: & my interview being in June 2013(as per DV2012 bulletins) thus sit back, relax & continue living ur life.

1:My take is processing means checking whether ur submitted docs r in order & sorting them as per date received since this will impact ur 2nd NL.If like u said ,u sent ur forms "late",even if ur current in Oct,ur interview date might not be in Oct since all who are current & sent their forms b4 u will be ahead of u in the queue for the interview date. The next step after processing for u is to get ur docs in order coz if ur docs r inorder according to KCC,you'll get a reminder on ur email to check ur status on https://www.dvlottery.state.gov/ESC/ where ur 2nd NL will be @.

2:I doubt that it matters how long the processing takes since if ur docs r ok & u sent them early enough,ur interview should be slated early. The next time u should contact them is after release of the next bulletin(around 15 Aug) since you'll know whether ur current or not.

Now that KCC has confirmed that they have received my forms, I would like to make a few changes to my data, which I forgot to mention while I was filling those forms. Can I simply send an email to them discussing those changes, and would this action of mine delay my interview?
My father's address has changed since I sent those forms. And I forgot to mention, in those forms, the institution where I am currently studying.

Thanks!

If u do have something to add, you'll have to fill in new forms & send them to KCC of which they'll be added to ur file.As to whether ur interview may be delayed, clueless?

regards.

Should I submit the forms electronically???

Hey, you have mentioned in your signature that you sent the forms by email, is that possible? I thought that you have to type in them, print them and then send them to KCC, that's what I did. I also sent my photographs in print form, alongwidth the bardcode page.
And regarding those minor changes, should I attach an electronic copy of the forms, or simply give reference and mention the changes?

Thanks!

Yes u can

Thank you for your inquiry.

You may correspond with KCC using email or any form of mail delivery, including DHL, FedEx, UPS, Express, and USPS.

Download the form, click on the address space u want fill in(a dialog box will open telling u the form can b filled & signed electronically_am using Adobe Reader X to which u will click "close".)the form is now ready 2b filled:cool:After u've filled it in,click on the Sign tab on the top left of ur Adobe Reader;it will open a column whereby you'll click the Done Signing tab to save the doc in its current state & ur done.If it asks u whether to upload, decline the offer.

After the docs have been filled,u will print them (hard copy) so as to attach the photos to them.Affix the photos on the designated space(top left of the doc).Scan the docs so that they can be in an electronic format.

Open ur gmail & attach as usual(be sure to title them )

Do not that ur email will bounce if the attachment is too big for the KCC email server(initially my package was 24MB).I had to reprint them using
DocuCom PDF Driver which scaled them down to around 15MB to which the KCC server gladly accepted;)

KCC have no authority to make changes on ur docs thus mentioning the alterations wont do.U have to fill in new forms (where the changes are so that they can add them to ur file). It would also be preferable to include a cover letter explaining ur reasons for the changes.

Cheers.

KCC does not email you when they receive your documents. They only send the second notification to your email address, which directs you to check your status, and get the information regarding your interview.
You can either email them or call them and ask them about your documents.
I sent my forms six weeks ago, and after six weeks, finally they confirmed to me that they have received my forms. I simply called them. Since you sent your forms two months ago, you can simply give them a call, and confirm it. I am sure they have received them. The number is 0016065267500, and then press 1 to talk with the operator. Make sure you have your case number, full name, and date of birth handy before calling them, they ask you for all that stuff.
You also have a fairly low case number, what is your country by the way?
