here is my situation
a) I Became Permenent Resident: September 16, 2001 (Green Card)
b) I Filed Immigration Petition of
my wife I-130: July 01, 2003 at Nebraska.
c) I am applying for US Citizenship: June 16, 2006
I am planning to apply for K3 as soon as I get my citizenship approved.
I have two questions?
Questions - 1) I filed I-130 petition as a lawful permanent resident; before I apply for K-3 Visa, do I need to update my status with I-130 petition as US Citizen...Is it a requirement before I apply for K-3...If yes how do I do that, I mean which forms do I submit and where. I-130 was submitted to Nebraska.
Questions - 2) How long it takes for nebraska center to change this permanent resident status to US Citizen on I-130 petition already filed?
Please guide me.
